We figure out how things work, why things fail, why accidents happen, and help people and companies develop, improve, and test products.  Our clients include energy, manufacturing, industrial companies, the insurance industry, attorneys, and consumers. The Rocky Mountain EMTEC engineering staff draws upon its broad base of experience and knowledge in the areas of metallurgical and materials engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, physics, and science to offer a multidisciplinary approach to understanding technical problems and their solutions.

We have specific expertise in a variety of areas including welding and joining, materials characterization and testing, materials selection, corrosion, failure analysis, mechanics of materials, fracture mechanics, forensic engineering, and accident investigations. As our practice is split between litigation cases and industrial consulting, we have experience in forensic engineering and in the real world of manufacturing and product applications.  All of our work is performed by, or under the direct supervision of, registered Professional Engineers.
